Our first week on the trip, and our first real travel with the new Outback Yachts 50, went very well. We are getting used to the boat’s performance and quirks. We’ve gone 218 miles (190 nautical miles) and made it to the border with South Carolina.
November 2nd to November 8th, 2025. From Murrells Inlet, SC to Palm Coast, FL. We traveled 423 miles this week, bringing our total to 4,074 for the trip. We have made it home again and completed our Triangle Loop Trip! Watch for a special announcement about the Frog coming up!

We made it back to our old home port, Wacca Wache, in Murrells Inlet, SC. We had some maintenance done on the boat and caught up with lots of friends.
October 19th to October 25th, 2025. From South Mills, NC to Holden Beach, NC. We traveled 342 miles this week, bringing our total to 3,590 miles so far. We are on a fast track toward home, trying to make up some time after being stuck last week due to the weather. We are making good time, and hope to be home before Thanksgiving.
Month 12th to Month 18th, 2025. From Solomons Island, MD to City, ST. We traveled 103 miles this week, bringing our total to 3,248 miles so far. We were stuck in Solomon’s Island for most of the week due to the Nor’easter that came up the East Coast, and only moved to Hampton, VA this Saturday, finishing our run of the Chesapeake. We had to drop three stops on our planned itinerary, but as they say, it’s okay to have an itinerary, don’t have a schedule! We did enjoy our time at the Solomons Island Yacht Club and look forward to future visits!
October 5th to October 11th, 2025. From Chesapeake City, MD to Solomons Island, MD.
We traveled 138 miles this week, bringing our total to 3,145 miles so far. We have begun our trip down Chesapeake Bay with stops in Baltimore, Deale, and Solomons Island. We caught up with old friends, and visited some familiar ports. The weather this week has been a bit of an issue. We had one rough day, but since we’re not in a hurry, we are trying to pick good weather days.
September 28th to October 4th, 2025. From Delaware City, DE to Chesapeake City, MD. We traveled 105 miles this week, bringing our total to 3,009 miles so far. We had a great stay in Philadelphia. It’s a beautiful city with lots of interesting architecture and many museums and historical sites to visit. We plan a return trip! We went through the C & D (Chesapeake & Delaware) Canal and are now officially back in the Chesapeake Bay.
September 21st to September 27th, 2025. From Newburgh, NY to Delaware City, DE.
We traveled 280 miles this week, bringing our total to 2,903 miles so far. We finished off the Hudson River, passed through New York City, and made our run out in the Atlantic down the coast of New Jersey. We are now heading up Delaware Bay and the Delaware River to Philadelphia for a week of sightseeing, and to ride out whatever storm Imelda brings up this way.
September 14th to September 20th, 2025. From Kingsbury, NY to City, ST. We traveled 143 miles this week, bringing our total to 2,623 miles so far. We completed the Champlain Canal, and aside from one small lock near Norfolk, Virginia, we are done with locks for this trip! Woo Hoo! We have started down the Hudson River, stopping to visit with old friends and visiting a blown-up castle along the way!
September 7th to September 13th, 2025. From Burlington, VT to Kingsbury, NY. We traveled 130 miles this week, bringing our total to 2,480 so far. This week’s goal was to get the stern thruster replaced and deal with the drip in our rudder. While it was a bit painful (I’m still feeling it two days later), we were successful on both projects! We finished Lake Champlain and started the Champlain Canal, heading back toward Waterford, where we will close our Triangle Loop. Our first day on the canal didn’t end as we’d planned.
